Custer Monument
At the recent reunion of the Custer Brigade in Lansing, a movement was started to raise a fund to erect a monument to the memory of the gallant general. While nothing definite has been done, there is a strong probability that if the plan is carried out, the city of Monroe will be selected as the place where it will be erected.
