The Erie Township parking lot is in the process of being torn up and removed in preparation for a new surface. The Erie Branch Library is owned and maintained by Erie Township and operated by the Monroe County Library System. The Erie Township Board administers the township's budget for this library. The Monroe County Library System provides the staff, computers, books and other library materials. Any circulating materials may be delivered to this community library for pickup by requesting them to be sent to Erie. The Monroe County Library System Online Public Access Catalog allows for requests to be submitted as long as a library card and pin number are used.
