Meeting Minutes Dec. 8, 2004
Board Meeting

President Gaylor called meeting to order at 7:33p.m.

Roll Call Gramlich, Liedel, VanAuker, Weyher Younglove, Grubb, Gaylor, McCurdy present. Lieto absent.

Motion: VanAuker 2nd Gramlich to accept Nov, 10th minutes as read. Carried..

Motion: Liedel 2nd Weyher to pay bills as presented. Carried

Old Business

•  Concession stand is moving along.

 Christmas in the Village . was a huge turn out. Town Hall looked spectacular Many thanks need to be said. Mr. Gaylor who worked countless hours on decorations.. He really out did himself. Mrs. Gaylor slaved for days baking cookies. Marge VanAuker and her crafty students. Floral City Harmonizers superb. Plus the many volunteers and Donations. Great Job.

Motion: Weyher 2nd Gramlich to pay Santa $250.00 and Carl Porter $100.00 for Christmas float. Carried.

Tree Planting .Twenty five trees have been planted. Clean up is almost complete. Village approved for $2,700 matching fund $5,400 total. Left over fund money will buy more trees and mulch. Four Honey Locust trees to be planted between Post Office and Mill property.

•  Lagoon Update David Auther print off showed 55 taps left. President Gaylor not happy with the report. Village will with hold payment until expectations are met..

•  2005 Street Paving Project has begun. Engineering layout complete. Project possibly up for bid in February. Pavement in front of St. Joes will be 22'. Undecided if additional church parking on Frederick St. will remain grass or replaced with gravel. Mr. Younglove suggested we ask for churches opinion. President Gaylor will look into homes with asphalt aprons. Possibly replacing them. Maybee Scoefield & Raisin St. intersection will be beefed up to accommodate heavy truck traffic.

New Business

Motion: Weyher 2nd Liedel to accept final figures to the 2004 amended budget.. Carried.

Motion: Gramlich 2nd Liedel to accept 2005 Budget. Carried.

 Drain Commission $55,000 in Budget for the operation and maintenance of Lagoon.

Ordinance No. 102A Section 1 President, Treasurer and Clerk Shall receive the sum of $300.00 for each month of service during their term of office. Trustee shall receive the sum of $25.00 for each regular meeting of Village Council attended during their term of office.

•  Section 2 Ordinance shall become effective 20 days after final passage and adoption..

 Motion: Gramlich 2nd Liedel to accept and adopt Ordinance No.102A

Street Report No street report given this month.

Flooding at Joseph and High St. President Gaylor thought it best to run a camera through the storm drain to determine what the problem is so it can be fixed.

Barn on Bluebush. Owner of the barn was sent a 30 day notice to tear barn down. 12/07/04

Next Meeting Jan. 12th 2005 at 7:30p.m.
