Meeting Minutes October 11, 2006
Board Meeting
President Gaylor opened meeting at 7:30 p.m. with the Pledge of Allegiance.
Those in attendance Council VanAuker, Weyher, Lieto, Liedel, Younglove, President Gaylor, Clerk McCurdy.
Those absent Council Gramlick, Treasurer Grubb.
Motion: VanAuker 2nd Younglove to approve the reading of September 13, 2006 Minutes. Carried.
Motion: Liedel 2nd Younglove to pay bills as presented. Carried.
Treasurer Report: accepted as printed.
Items from the Floor: No Public Comment.
Old Business
Plumbing Inspector: President Gaylor asked council to approve Eldon Weiss as the new Plumbing & Mechanical Inspector for the Village of Maybee.
Motion: Weyher 2nd Younglove to approve Eldon Weiss as plumbing & Mechanical Inspector. Carried.
Ordinances: All ordinances are now infect. President Gaylor to make copies for each council member.
Sanitary Sewer Update: Rain gauge has been installed at the pumping station and at the actual pumping site. Pumping Station to be monitored for approximately 30 days.
New Business
Clerk Position: Clerk Roxanne McCurdy submitted her resignation effective 11/09/06. President Gaylor asked council to appoint Theresa Gross as the new Village Clerk for the remainder of the term.
Motion: Lieto 2nd Younglove to appoint Theresa Gross Village Clerk. Carried.
Halloween Night: Trick or Treating in the Village of Maybee will be from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m..
Christmas with Santa Set for December 12, 2006. Horse and Carriage to carry Santa through the village.
Budget Amendments: President Gaylor asked d council to amend the following budgets. General Fund Acct. 101-191-826 Attorney Fees from $3,000.00 to $4,000.00. Acct. 101-215-702 Clerk Salary from $ 3,600.00 to $3,900.00. Acct. 101-215-726 Clerk Supplies from $800.00 to $1000.00. Acct. 101-215-915 Clerk Publishing from $ 500.00 to $2,500.00. To reduce Acct. 101-311-726 $6,000.00 to $2,000.00. Acct. 101-965-999 Transfers from $10,000.00 to $12,800.00.
Major Street Fund Acct. 202-463-726 Operating Supplies from $4,500.00 to $5,500.00. Acct. 202-463-801 Contracted Services From $0.00 to $1,100.00.
Motion: Lieto 2nd Liedel to amend the listed budgets. Carried.
Motion: Weyher 2nd Liedel to adjourn at 8:00 p.m.. Carried.
