Meeting Minutes November 8, 2006
Board Meeting
President Gaylor opened meeting at 7:30 p.m. with the Pledge of Allegiance.
Those in attendance Council : VanAuker, Weyer, Lieto, Liedel,Gramlich,
President Gaylor, Clerk McCurdy, Clerk Gross.
Those absent Council Younglove, Treasurer Grubb.
Swearing in of Clerk :Theresa Gross
Motion: Liedel 2nd Lieto To approve the reading of October 11,2006 minutes. Carried.
Motion: Vanaucker 2nd Gramlich To pay bills as presented. Carried
Treasurer Report: Accepted as printed.
Items from the floor: No public comment.
Old Business:
Multi-purpose building: President Gaylor informed Council that the partitions are in the restrooms. Also, there is now emergency lighting, and is in the process of being winterized and is almost complete.
Comments on signs: Council liked the location.
Christmas With Santa: Set for December 12, 2006. Republic Bank is graciously paying for the horse and carriage to carry Santa through the village. J.&K. is covering the cost of the Floral Harmonizers. The Little Brown Jug is donating hot chocolate & donuts. The Village is covering the cost of bags of candy for the children and Santa Clause.

New Business
Christmas Decorations: They will be put up on Thanksgiving weekend.
Water Study by P.F.M. Council approved quote for direct and indirect tap in fees study. The amount for water fee is $3,125 and to review the water district would cost $1,250. The total quote amounted to $4,375.00.
Motion: Gramlich 2nd Weyher Carried
O.H.M. Smoke Testing: Orchard, Hiltz & McCliment, Inc. is conducting smoke testing of the sewer lines and is sending letters to the residents to inform them.
Get together after December meeting: President Gaylor invited council members, treasurer,& clerk to bring their families for a light luncheon on December 13th after the monthly meeting. Everyone decided that was a nice idea.
Piano Upstairs: Call Barker to see if it is of any value. If not, we are going to dispose of it.
Motion: Gramlich 2nd Liedel to adjourn meeting at 8:20 p.m.. Carried.
