In 2006 she was awarded first prize by the National League of American Pen Women for an original short story and in 2012, her first novel, Governey, was finally published. Then, in February of 2013, she was a contributing author for Amazon’s best-seller, “Rainbows in Cobwebs.” Other endeavors include being a member of Grosse Pointe Theatre where she appeared in a half dozen musicals, was awarded a “Clarence” and also served on their Board of Directors. Possessing an inherent love for our country, she ran for office under the Libertarian ticket during the 1998 and 2000 elections.
She now resides in Oakland Township where her favorite pastime is dancing at the Rochester Ballroom, having just participated in their October gala as well as writing the script for the show. Other writing projects include updates on her Facebook page and children’s plays.In spite of these undertakings, however, Constance’s pride and joy is her endearing family, particularly her loving husband, Bill, to whom she has been married for 43 years. Her four children have also since married and, so far, have blessed them with 10 delightful grandchildren.
