AMBASSADOR BRIDGE COMPLETED

Detroit, Nov - Work on the new Ambassador Bridge from Detroit and Windsor was completed at 5 p.m., yesterday, with the laying of the final section of the pavement.
The bridge will be formally dedicated Armistice Day, November 11, by a group of state officials, Canadian government officials, and Vice-President Charles Curtis. The bridge will be inspected and probably opened to traffic November 15.
The suspended span of the bridge is 1,850 feet long, its entire weight being held by cables. The center of the bridge passes over the Detroit river at a height of 152 feet.
