Recruits Wanted For The Lancers
George M. Landon, Esq., has received a commission as Second Lieut. in Col. Rankin’s regiment of Lancers, and has opened a recruiting office in Cole’s Block, Washington Street. This regiment is to be 1600 strong. We have before alluded to the regiment, and the arms they will carry. Those enlisting will be paid for the time of enlistment.
