Maybee Branch Closing for Remodeling

The Maybee Branch Library will close on October 1 while the facility is painted and re-carpeted.  The building which houses the library is owned and maintained by the Townships of Exeter, London, Raisinville and the Village of Maybee. The Maybee Branch Library Advisory Board administers the budget for the building.

The library moved into its current location in 1987.  Since then changes have been made to update the facility, but it is again in need of painting and carpeting.  All of the materials will be stored while the shelving is removed and painted and new carpeting installed.  The branch will reopen on Thursday, October 22, 2009.

Materials due while the library is closed can be returned to any of the other 16 branches of the Monroe County Library System.  Meanwhile, the five surrounding branches will be open regular hours:
Blue Bush Branch Library
Ida Branch Library
Dundee Branch Library
Ellis Reference and Information Center
Summerfield-Petersburg Branch Library
