From the Author: “My name is Sierra Masson. I was born in Dearborn and moved to Newport when I was two. I live with my dad, Edward Masson Jr., my mom, Tricia Masson, my brother, Dalton Masson, and my English Springer Spaniel, Baxter. I am a 16 year-old student, attending Jefferson High School. I have loved to write stories since I was in 2nd grade and in 9th grade I was able to get my first book, The Mark, published, thanks to Jefferson's after school Writer's Club. I was not only the first student in our school to get a book published but also the first student in Monroe County. In 10th grade, the second book in my series, Scars, got published as well. I plan on working on the third book this year and getting it published in the early-summer, late-spring.
Some of my hobbies that I use to pass the time when I'm not writing are practicing for my school's Auxillary/Color Guard Flag team, teaching myself to play my bowed psaltery, jamming out on the piano, singing (ALL the time), maintaining my fairy/flower garden, cooking/baking with my mom, and finding any kind of artsy-fartsy crafts that I find on Pinterest. A few of my other activities are hunting and trapping with my dad, fishing, bow-fishing, and swimming in my cottage's lake in Irish Hills.”
