I have just seen an advertisement of Mr. Medard Labadie, offering to pace his horse against any other in North America—I would inform sportsmen, that his horse does not pace, but runs the greater part of the distance, in racing—they will therefore do well to be on their guard, as he is only puffing up his horse to with a good sale!
The public are likewise cautioned against taking counterfeit bank bills from him—as it can be proved that he has acknowledged having in his possession, at one time, about $30 counterfeit money!!
