Eligibility:
Anyone who resides, works or is a student in Monroe County is eligible to enter the Juried Art Show. You may submit up to 3 pieces of work not previously shown at a Monroe City County Fine Arts Council Juried Show. Work must be original. No copies or reproductions allowed! Art from photographs or drawings must be from your own original work. Work must be “executed within the last two years,” framed, gallery wrapped and wired, ready to hang. Limited size is up to 40” by 40” including the frame. Sawtooth hangers are not acceptable. Committee may refuse entries that are copies or that are deemed objectionable or unsuitable because of size or fragility.

Categories may be combined at the Juror’s discretion. Excludes Bicentennial Category.
Entry Fees:
A non-refundable fee of $15.00 will be charged for up to Two entries and $10.00 for a third entry, all by the same artist. Entries need not be in the same medium.

Submitting artists and guests may attend awards reception starting at 2:30 pm. Awards at 3:00pm.

Liability:
All entries are exhibited at the the risk of the artist. MCCFAC, the Library System nor any of their representatives can be held liable for loss or damage. Reasonable precautions will be taken to protect the entries.
Pick Up:
Unaccepted work must be picked up on Saturday, May 6, 2017 immediately following the awards reception. Accepted work must remain until May 20, 2017, work must be picked up no later than May 22, 2017 during regular Ellis library & Reference Center hours.
