Eligibility:
Anyone who resides, works, or is a student in Monroe county is eligible to enter the Juried Art Show. You may submit up to three pieces of work not previously award a prize at a Monroe City/County Fine Arts Council Juried Show. Work must be original; framed or gallery wrapped if applicable to the type of work, and wired and ready to hang. Saw tooth hangers are not acceptable. Size is limited up to 40”x40” including frame. Committee may refuse entries that are copies, deemed objectionable, or unsuitable because of size or fragility.

Categories may be combined at the Juror’s discretion.
Entry Fees:
A non-refundable fee of $15 will be charged for up to 2 entries and $10 for a third entry; all must be from the same artist but do not need to be in the same category.
Work may be dropped off at the Ellis Library & Reference Center on:
The awards reception will be on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at the Ellis Library & Reference Center starting at 1:30 pm, with the jurors remarks and awards starting at 2:00 pm.
Liability:
All entries are exhibited at the risk of the artist. MCCFAC and the Monroe County Library System nor any of their representatives will be held liable for loss or damage. All reasonable precautions will be taken to protect the entries.
Pick Up:
Unaccepted work must be picked up on Saturday, May 4, 2019, or immediately following the awards reception. Accepted work must remain on display through May 18, 2019 and must be picked up no later than May 20, 2019 during regular library hours.
